Can you feel it?

Recently, I had the joy of capturing swimwear for Kambric Goods. I’m a huge fan of Daisy’s creative designs as she embraces nostalgia with modern silhouettes.

The gathering of some lovely ladies, a beautiful horse and a cliff-framed beach  as our playground was the perfect setting to our photo session, and the sun-kissed morning left me counting the days until school is out and summer begins.

Wild and free. Nostalgia for my teenage summers. Reminding myself that it is our child selves that hold the vision for the rest of our lives. As children we are unknowingly laying the groundwork for a life well-lived, through the power of our own joy and imagination.

Now as an adult and mama, summer is not just a time for solely relaxing, but I try to embrace that energy nonetheless. As I spend my days working and caring for my family, I appreciate what summer still means....and what it gives me:

  • Long, beautiful days

  • Beautiful, fresh fruit and produce

  • Wild and free plans with my girl

  • Deep relaxation in the sun with a good book

  • Slow, creative thought

  • Lingering dinners beneath a warm star-filled sky

  • Never ending beach walks with my love

  • Daydreaming all that is possible

  • Impromptu gatherings

Memorial Day seems to mark the unofficial start to summer, and in just a few weeks time, we will all be deep in the season of vibrance. In the meantimereach out and say hello - I would love to connect and hear what is unfolding for you.
