Harmony in Action

I’ve been thinking a lot about the constraints we put on ourselves. How we get caught up in the being for or against something.

In the day-to-day of just about anything (in today’s world), there is so much friction and push/pull between ideas, styles and modalities. And if you are already 100% for or against something, then that means you have already made up your mind from a previous judgement, before you have even seen the current situation. Your mind is closed. Meaning you will miss what is really there and what is really happening.

Over the past few years, I’ve been focusing on constantly letting go of any attachment to belief or way or system of doing things. I want to understand what I or someone else is feeling, thinking, experiencing in the moment or during the time together of connecting. A difference of looking through the lens of your heart and having your mind and thoughts aligned with that, instead of looking through the lens of a conditioned mind that wants to compare and judge in order to maintain an already established viewpoint. This is not an easy practice, yet when the shift of your thoughts and mindset are more open to an array of perspectives, you will find more softness, kindness, empathy and joy.

Living a life of harmony in action opens the doors to infinite possibilities. Let go of the constraints, and the creativity flows. And remember, the only thing constant in life, is change. Embrace it and expand with it.
