Unfolding Spring
"The human soul is hungry for beauty… When we experience the Beautiful, there is a sense of homecoming. Some of our most wonderful memories are beautiful places where we felt immediately at home. We feel most alive in the presence of the Beautiful for it meets the needs of our soul." - John O'Donohue
For me, Spring holds a special kind of beauty. A richness and unfolding of newness, a fullness found in blooming florals, budding trees, and expanding light-filled days.
March seems to open its doors beckoning our winter hibernating ways to gather and share space with others again. These past few weeks, I’ve been blessed to be a part of as well as host circles and workshops for women, mothers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and healers. Topics and focus of intentional living, intuitive guidance, and heart-centered brand building. Bringing in others to offer their gifts has been such a highlight. I realize more than ever that in-person connection is deeply needed within today’s society. Community is beauty.
Nature has been an idyllic backdrop for client photo sessions too. The softness of the light in the early mornings, or the golden glow found in the magic hour evenings. A budding freshness adding to the energetic turn of the season provides that certain extra for my clients and our photographic adventures together, chasing beauty.
Just a subtle reminder, we are responsible for the landscape of our mind. Ask yourself, “What do I choose to bring my attention to?” Notice. Appreciate. Live. Beauty is everywhere.
