Value of Time

As time moves so swiftly forward, I sometimes catch myself comparing the present to the past. It is so tempting to compare our own stories and childhoods finding us lost in nostalgia ...

How it was then
How it used to be The good ol’ days

Perhaps this means of thinking creates distance.

The thinking that somehow it might have been better before tends to create an unease, even though it oftentimes is quite comforting.

And so—I'm practicing more fully on how it is now.

I don't want to waste a minute of my life longing for yesterday.

A gentle reminder for us all, to gather and protect your time.

For a preoccupied mind, the greatest obstacle to living fully is expectations that depends on tomorrow but wastes today.

Free yourself, for yourself.

Because TIME is our most valuable asset.
